TIPS ON HOW TO BE BETTER PREPARED

  • Develop a written plan of action & keep a storm safety kit handy
  • Know where electrical, water and power valve switches and shutoffs are located
  • Unplug as many big appliances as possible ~ this will help prevent damage once power is restored
  • Keep essential records such as birth certificates, insurance policies and other important documents in a safe place, preferably a fire proof container
  • LED crank flashlight; each bedroom should have a battery operated flashlight with additional batteries
  • Create an emergency contact list containing your insurance carrier, hotels in the area and friends and family
  • Professionals will likely be needed to complete your cleanup so be sure to have Lion Contractors emergency number available to minimize secondary damage

Storms hit hard and can rapidly cause extensive damage in a short period of time. Lion Contractors has complete remodeling capabilities to help restore your property.
